Authors are reminded to register by 21 August 2009 to ensure inclusion in the final programme.
H1N1pdm abstracts invited: deadline extended
17 July: Submit late breaking H1N1pdm abstracts by 13 November 2009
In addition to the late breaker abstract deadline on 19th September 2009, the Epidemics2 conference committee would like to invite late breaker abstracts specifically on H1N1pdm. The oral programme will include an extended H1N1 session (mixing accepted H1N1 abstracts and additional late breaking abstracts). The final deadline for these abstracts is the 13th November 2009.

18 June : Submit late breaking abstracts by 19 September 2009
Late breaking abstracts will be accepted until 19 September 2009 to allow presentation of the very latest results in this area. Nearly 300 submissions were submitted as a result of the initial call for abstracts.

The abstracts submission deadline of 12 June 2009 is fast approaching. Please remember to submit your 300 word abstracts for oral and poster presentations by this deadline.

The abstract submission deadline for oral and poster submissions has been extended to 12 June 2009 to allow the presentation of more recent results at the conference. Please submit 300 word abstracts by this deadline for inclusion in the programme.
Online registration now open
7 April: Early booking discounts apply until 30 September 2009
Online registration for the conference is now open. Delegates are advised to register before 30 September 2009 to take advantage of reduced delegate rates. Additional concessions are available for students.
Optional conference dinner, 3 December 2009
2 Apr: Book now for dinner in the National Gardens of Athens
An optional conference dinner will take place at the Aigli Restaurant next to the Zappieon building, in the National Gardens of Athens. The ticket price includes a four course meal, all drinks, a short tour of the gardens to see the Greek Houses of Parliament, President's House and the first Olympic stadium and return transportation from the Marriott Hotel. Please book via the online registration form.

Andrew Read (Pennsylvania State University), Bette Korber (Los Alamos National Laboratory) and Peter Walsh (Max Planck Institute) are confirmed as plenary speakers at EPIDMICS˛. Additional speakers will be announced please check the webpage regularly for details.

Online submission is now open for abstracts for oral and poster contributions at EPIDEMICS˛ – the Second International Conference on Infectious Disease Dynamics. The deadline for submission is 1 May 2009.

Following the highly successful inaugural Epidemics Conference in Asilomar, USA in 2008, the organizers are pleased to announce a second conference in the series to be held in Athens, Greece, 2-4 December 2009.
